According to the brains behind new bridesmaid company Gather & Gown, some traditions are worth breaking. They've created a new online destination for today's bridal party — a fun, interactive way to find the perfect dress without the wait time and special order fees associated with more traditional ways of shopping.
Over the last few years, Creative Director Michael Shettel saw a fast-paced change in the shopping habits of the Gen Y bride and of Millennial wedding parties in general. He recognized the need for a bridal party e-commerce site to cater to their interactive way of shopping. His unique vision created Gather & Gown.
Shopping patterns no longer necessarily take wedding parties to the traditional brick-and-mortar stores. These are tech-savvy shoppers who are accustomed to doing all of their shopping online in the convenience of their home, office, or on-the-go.
The Gather & Gown website has fun features and interactive tools for brides, bridesmaids, and wedding guests. "The Loop" is the site's meeting space, where you can save favorites, connect with your friends through social media, and chat about styles — making it easier to find the perfect dress, no matter where you live.
Whether you are sitting across the table or across the country from your 'maids, you can “Gather & Gown,” and everyone can enjoy the same shopping experience on their own schedule.
