If you recently got engaged, you're probably starting to think about those engagement photos. You know you want to do a photo shoot, but how are you supposed to make sure you get the best pictures possible? Well, it's not just about the photographer and the lighting; a lot of how your photos turn out has to do with what you and your partner decide to wear.
More and more couples are taking engagement photos these days, and with good reason — it's a wonderful way to practice with your photographer and get more comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. But the question remains: What do you actually do with those photos? Sure, you can use them for your save-the-dates, but that isn't your only option.
Have you ever looked at those beautiful, perfectly posed engagement photos and thought to yourself, "That's so not us?" Well, you're not alone. At the end of the day, you want your pictures to reflect your personality, so don't try to force things that feel unnatural. If you're a laid-back couple, say, "I do" to super casual engagement sessions rather than getting all fancy with your outfit or your locale. You'll look so much more comfortable if you just stay true to who you are. Not sure how to nail your photos?

The flower basket he used carried sentimental value — it's the same one Andria carried down the aisle two decades ago when the duo were flower girl and ring bearer in a family member's wedding.
"Losing" your best friend to married life can be a tough pill to swallow — many fear their friendships will never be the same again. High school sweethearts Brittney and Kody decided to poke fun at this idea by including Kody's best friend, Mitch, in their humorous engagement photo:
