Wedding bells are ringing for Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder! The 26-year-old Twilight actress and 36-year-old Vampire Diaries star are engaged after six months of dating.

Somerhalder was reportedly spotted purchasing a vintage diamond eternity band at jewelry mecca Neil Lane back in December, so it was only a matter of time before sources confirmed the exciting news. E! News reports "Somerhalder told Reed he had 'been in love with [her] for years,' long before they took their friendship to the next level." They added "They were crazy happy from the start. Their families love each other. It just feels really right."
The vampy duo moved in together two weeks after stepping out publicly as a couple; they currently reside in Georgia, where The Vampire Diaries is filmed. When they're not on the big screen, they enjoy spending time with their adopted animals, including horses Eagle and Millie, cat Sohalia, and dogs Nietzsche and Enzo. (Here's hoping that one of their furry companions will make an appearance at their big day!)
This will be the first marriage for Somerhalder and the second for Reed (she finalized her divorce from American Idol contestant Paul McDonald earlier this month).
