Stressed out about planning the perfect honeymoon? Whether you're going across the country or around the world, these travel apps will help you stay organized and ensure that you have an unforgettable trip!

1. OpenTable
This app offers a quick and easy way to find top-notch restaurants in your city — there are thousands to choose from worldwide — and make a reservation. Narrow down choices by neighborhood, cuisine, and budget. Whether you're craving a quick gelato snack in Florence or would like to splurge on a five-course meal in Hawaii, OpenTable has got you covered. Each selection features the restaurant's menu, customer reviews, and a map of where it's located.

Tip: Once you choose where you'd like to eat, sign up for an account to earn points towards discounted dining.

Cost: Free.

Rating: 10 out of 10. We love that OpenTable saves couples precious time on their honeymoon by determining which restaurants are too busy for last-minute reservations. (Of course, it goes without saying that every eatery you search for might not be listed in this app.) OpenTable can be used long after the honeymoon is over.

2. GateGuru
Named a top travel app by CNN, GateGuru provides real-time flight status information so you'll never be bored during a delayed flight ever again. Instead of sitting around waiting for what seems like hours on end, use the app to find nearby restaurants and grab a bite to eat with your husband. Other useful features include airport maps, last-minute car rentals, weather notifications, and even security wait times.

Tip: There are three ways you can add your itinerary to the app: you can email it to [email protected], connect your GateGuru account to a Tripit or KAYAK account, or manually enter it.

Cost: Free.

Rating: 10 out of 10. We had a few hiccups here and there; for example, when I clicked on an airport map, a "denied access" message popped up — but it worked on the second try. This free app is the ultimate travel companion — it can turn what would have been an incredibly stressful travel experience into one that is efficient and, dare we say it, relaxing.

3. GetPacked
This app is an organization lover's dream: simply answer nine questions, and it'll tell you exactly what you need to pack for that locale. It personalizes results based on how long you'll be staying, and you can edit the list to fit your personal needs (we won't judge if you add five pairs of shoes). Use the app's travel checklist to ensure that you finish all of your traveling tasks before you depart, from doing household chores to buying traveler's insurance.

Tip: Once you've decided what to pack, place the items into virtual suitcases that are labeled by name so that you remember exactly what you put in each of your bags, preventing that last-minute scramble at the airport.

Cost: $1.99.

Rating: 9.5 out of 10. This is an excellent app that received rave reviews from users. In my opinion, the only thing that it's missing is a countdown icon displaying how much time is left until departure.

4. TripIt
This app is perfect for a longer trip where you're visiting multiple destinations or simply have a jam-packed schedule of activities. It takes all of your travel confirmation emails and organizes them into an itinerary that you can sync to your iPhone or iPad, calendar, and on tripit.com. You can also share it with Mom and Dad back home via email or through Facebook.

Tip: Another awesome feature is the point tracker, which tracks all of your frequent flyer accounts and alerts you to potential savings.

Cost: Free.

Rating: 8 out of 10. All trips are shared on social media by default, so if the thought of friends and family knowing exactly where you'll be makes you squeamish, make sure that you change the privacy settings ASAP. Other than that, TripIt is a great tool for one of the most hectic times in a couple's life.

5. Go Select
Are you someone who prefers to vacay in a bustling city, as opposed to a tropical oasis? This app helps honeymooners save cash by booking multiple attractions at one time (their slogan is "see more, spend less"). There are over 400 available events in nine major U.S. cities — including museums, amusement parks, and more.

Tip: All tickets are electronic and can be scanned right from your phone. With the paperless method, you won't have to worry about accidentally losing anything.

Cost: Free.

Rating: 7 out of 10. Go Select has some functional bugs — it didn't load every single time we tried to open it — and it can only be used within featured states in the U.S. However, it's useful for newlyweds looking to explore major cities like Los Angeles or Vegas.
