Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort
Scott and Shannon had an incredible stay at the Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort in Bora Bora in an Overwater Bungalow.

Thinking about heading to Bora Bora for your honeymoon? Here, Shannon and Scott share their best advice:
Go big or go home. This was our honeymoon; we went where we wanted, did what we wanted — and had the time of our life. Truly, our dream honeymoon was absolutely perfect.
Research beforehand: Bora Bora is not for everyone. It is a quiet, relaxing island. Nightlife is, for the most part, nonexistent. Life slows down there. For us, it was wonderful and just what we needed. TripAdvisor was a big help to us, validating our choice.
Jot it all down. If you don’t want to forget a thing, write it down. Note every moment, every experience, and every special person you come across. Our family and friends loved following our journey through the blog we kept to preserve our memories.

Tai & Jeff:
The Intercontinental Resort Tahiti, The Intercontinental Resort & Spa Moorea, and The Sofitel Bora Bora Marara Beach & Private Island
Tai and Jeff started their honeymoon adventure at The Intercontinental Resort Tahiti, then ventured to The Intercontinental Resort & Spa Moorea and the Sofitel Bora Bora Marara Beach & Private Island. The two knew they wanted a tropical beach destination, and this French Polynesian combination allowed for the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure.
Favorite memory: Feeding the sharks and stingrays. Tai and Jeff spent the day out on the water, enjoying views of the beautiful island, exploring the coral gardens, and getting some one-on-one time with the sharks and stingrays. Talk about an experience they’ll never forget!
Advice for other couples: “Go to your dream destination. Splurge a little and be open to adventure. Memories are created through experiences, and the memories you create on your honeymoon will last forever," said Tai.
