Mexico is well-known for its delicious tequilas; so in honor of Cinco de Mayo, we're celebrating with these signature cocktails featuring Mexico's most popular liquor.
La Margarita

Ingredients:
1.5 oz Patrón Reposado
0.75 oz. Patrón Citronge Orange
1 oz. Lime juice
0.5 oz. Ginger syrup (such as Monin or Ginger Real)
1 Whole lychee for garnish
Sprinkle of chia seeds and salt for rim
Directions:
Combine liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice to chill. Strain onto fresh ice in a glass rimmed with a 50/50 blend of chia seeds and kosher salt. Garnish with lychee to the sounds of classic Mexican guitar.
*Lychee syrup: Empty the complete contents of a can of peeled/pitted lychees into a blender. Blend until completely liquefied, then strain through a mesh strainer to remove solids.
Spice of Life
Ingredients:
1 oz. Roca Patrón Silver
1 oz. Patrón Citronge Lime
1 oz. Frangelico
2 strawberries
0.5 oz. lime juice
2 slices of jalapeño
Directions:
Muddle strawberries to a paste; add liquid ingredients and cubed ice. Shake and strain onto fresh ice in a double old fashioned glass, and garnish with a half strawberry and jalapeño slices.

Tomar Bueno
Ingredients:
1 oz. Patrón Roca Silver
0.75 oz. Patrón Citronge Lime
1 oz. Campari
1 oz. grapefruit juice
2 oz. Lemon Lime Soda of Choice
Directions:
Add ingredients to a highball glass with ice and garnish with a grapefruit peel twist.

Signature Summer Margarita
Ingredients:
0.75 oz Chambord Liqueur
1.5 oz. el Jimador Tequila
0.75 oz. pomegranate juice
0.5 oz. lime juice
Raspberry and/or lime to garnish
Directions:
Take a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Pour in Chambord, tequila, pomegranate juice and lime juice. Now shake, shimmy and strain into margarita or martini glass. Whatever takes your fancy. Add raspberry, or lime, or both.

Bandera de Puebla
Ingredients:
1 oz. Patrón Reposado
1 oz. Patrón Citronge Lime
0.5 oz. coconut cream
0.75 oz. fresh lime juice
0.75 oz pomegranate juice
Mint sprig for garnish
Directions:
Combine the Patrón Reposado, Citronge Lime, coconut and lime juices in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Gently pour the pomegranate Juice so it settles to the bottom half of the drink, creating two equal layers of white and red. Garnish with a sprig of mint to represent the three colors of the Mexican flag.

Saint Ambrose Cup
Ingredients:
0.75 oz. Campari
2 oz. Tequila
0.75 oz. fresh lemon juice
0.5 oz. simple syrup
4 cucumber slices (3 muddled, 1 for garnish)
Directions:
Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail coupe.
