Tip of the Day: If you’re not already close with your mother-in-law, start the bonding process now to pave the way for a happy future. Ask her to lunch, get a mani/pedi together, or just spend some one-on-one time with her when you're visiting with your fiancé. If she wants to be involved in the wedding plans, choose two or three areas where she can pitch in and invite her to do so. Deciding what you need help with and giving her specific things to work on will (hopefully) prevent her from pressuring you with her opinions on all of your plans.

Tip of the Day: If collecting relatives’ current addresses, emails, and significant others’ names took some legwork, copy your completed list to share with your parents and siblings as a thoughtful gesture. Start saving those engagement card envelopes now, so that you have those return address labels to refer to for guests’ addresses.

Tip of the Day: Before you leave for your honeymoon, schedule all of your bill-paying online so that you're not late with any payments, which would damage your APRs and credit score while you're away. Also, arrange for housesitters, petsitters and someone to care for your plants during your absence. Stop delivery of mail so that it's not evident that you're away.

Tip of the Day: Brides are finding creative ways to incorporate their monogram into their wedding details. We've seen couple's initials emblazoned on programs, cakes, and even sewed onto gowns! One easy idea we love: Personalize your dessert buffet with letter-shaped candy bowls and fill with chocolate truffles or colorful candies.

Tip of the Day: Outfit your bridesmaids in cardigans to keep them warm and toasty during outdoor photo sessions. It's a great thank-you gift that they'll use time and time again in the future. Cover-ups also help to create a cohesive look if your bridesmaids are wearing mismatched dresses. A simple cardi in a bold color, as shown here, perfectly complements a rustic-chic reception. If you're getting married in a more formal venue, such as a ballroom, have them wear beaded pashminas or shawls instead.
