Tip of the Day: "Finding 'The Dress' can be extremely stressful for most brides, as it is the most important dress you'll wear in your entire life. Before scheduling appointments at bridal salons, I highly suggest that the bride-to-be does some research," says Melissa Heholt from Statice Events.

To get an idea of the styles of dresses available, browse Bridal Guide's gown gallery and Pinterest. Heholt suggests creating a private Pinterest board with your top gown picks. "After pinning several dresses, the bride will hopefully start to notice commonality amongst the dresses that draws her attention; whether it be the designer, silhouette, fabric or length. Schedule appointments at bridal salons within budget and that offer your preferred designer," she says.

Some of our favorite images were created out of a combination of elements beyond our control and with flexible and fun couples. You can’t control the weather, but you certainly can control your perception of your day," says Amy Oyler from Legacy Photo & Design.
