The bride says of choosing the Now Sapphire Riviera resort in Cancún as their venue: “Growing up in Texas, I always had an affinity for Mexico. Now Sapphire’s Mayan-influenced design really captured the local aesthetic.” Mexican culture was further realized in the local flora that was used, the Mayans that performed a ritual during the ceremony, as well as the fire-dance show and mariachi band performances.
