To help them plan the West Coast wedding from Chicago, Bonny and Dave enlisted Sasha Souza, a California-based event designer who specializes in wine-country fetes.

Souza helped the couple dream up a sophisticated color scheme of creamy ivory, light green and cocoa brown and incorporated it throughout the event's decor, making sure each facet was both chic and unexpected.
The couple met beneath a tall, modified chuppah, covered in ivory silk dupioni, which had small, round vases of orchids suspended from it. There, the pair was married in an intimate, nondenominational ceremony.
