The couple’s two-year engagement provided plenty of time to envision and plan their intimate destination wedding in Capri. Aiming for a classically elegant ceremony, the couple opted for all-white décor featuring an aisle lined with white florals, including roses, lily of the valley, sweet pea, dahlias, and hydrangeas and a stunning arch covered in white roses and hanging dendrobiums and chiffon draping.

Once Chris decided to ask the love of his life to marry him, he was determined to make it special. He took Lisa on a romantic trip to Paris, and from there to Venice, where he had hired a photographer to capture the big moment. Taking a boat through the Grand Canal, the pair reached the island of San Giorgio where Chris dropped to one knee and asked Lisa to be his wife.

The goody bags, menus, invitations and itineraries all featured the couple’s DIY family crest created by the two of them in a traditional Italian style. The goody bags were packed with surprises: prosecco, Limoncello candy, Italian crackers and other treats to enjoy.
