Beano’s Cabin, a secluded, luxurious restaurant nestled in the mountains, was the site for the rustic-styled ceremony and reception. “The venue offered a spectacular backdrop, an intimate setting and wonderful food,” Patty says.
During a weekend getaway to Park City, Utah, Jason popped the question in front of a hill with large signage “PC” for Park City, or in their case the future “Patty Clark.” The Miami residents spent the next year planning their ideal fall wedding. They chose Beaver Creek, Colorado, as their big-day location since the bride grew up visiting the resort village with her family, making it a sentimental spot to create even more loving memories.
Crisp stationery with elegant, gilded calligraphy listed the multi-course meal options at the cabin reception.
The bare wooden chairs and garland-lined aisle seamlessly coordinated with the natural ambience of the vast meadow and cozy log cabin.
To honor the region’s ancestral history, the newlyweds also included Native American-themed elements in their celebration. For example, their wedding officiant, who has familial ties to the Navajo tribe, incorporated unique traditions, like playing his Native American flute at the beginning of the ceremony.

A vintage, cream-colored birdcage served as a charming repository for gifts and well wishes.
The tented reception offered a variety of savory hors d’oeuvres, like cured wild-caught salmon with crème fraiche, curried chicken and chervil on sea salt potato chips.
