Brandice’s 14k yellow-gold, emerald-cut diamond ring by Marrow Fine sparkled aplenty, especially when paired with her matching Art Deco-style wedding band.
Ransom asked Brandice to be his wife while riding their horses along the trails of Oregon’s Smith Rock State Park — a love story made full circle as the high school sweethearts originally met at their local 4-H youth horse program as kids. It was only fitting that their nuptials take place in a hayfield at the bride’s childhood home in their shared hometown of Tumalo, Oregon. “The memories from growing up here made our wedding extra-special,” said Brandice.
Chas Thompson Thomas of Wildflower Portland created the couple’s floral arrangements, including the bride’s bouquet, sourced from Summer Robbins Flowers.
Wrapped in Western-style shawls, the bride wore a Chic Nostalgia gown while her bridesmaids wore Show Me Your Mumu dresses.
The groomsmen looked sharp in classic black tuxedos from The Black Tux, adding an unexpected dash of luxury to the day.
The bride wore open-toe leather bootie heels by Kasey Jean Leather Designs, owned by one of her high school friends.
The Minted invitations featured an illustration of the couple on horseback, reflecting the celebration’s “upscale cowboy” theme.
The couple took turns reading their vows line by line while backdropped by expansive farmland and rolling hills.
Leafy green bundles with cream and sage pumpkins decorated the ceremony setting.
