Tropical Bliss: Patricia & Matthew in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
Patricia Cecilia Arguello and Matthew William Schatz were introduced by mutual friends during a group outing in April of 2012. They immediately knew they had something special together — in fact, they began dating the very next day! That same year, they went on a week-long getaway to Grand Cayman, where they fell in love with the small Caribbean island and the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman resort's impeccable hospitality. Fast-forward to December of 2013, when Matt proposed during a magical trip to Thailand: on their first night in Koh Samui, he dropped down to one knee in their villa and presented her with a sparkling ring. "We both thought it would be meaningful to go back to Grand Cayman to exchange our vows," Patricia shares.

True to tradition, Matt and Patricia prepared for the wedding day apart from one another. The bride invited her female friends and relatives into her suite for champagne and light nibbles while getting beautified. Pasquale Caselle styled their hair, and Stefani Ford Makeup did their makeup.

Patricia wore a trumpet gown by Monique Lhuillier featuring gorgeous cap sleeves and an embellished appliqué overlay.

Patricia desired a "classic and unfussy" bouquet — it featured a beautiful mix of white hydrangeas, soft pink garden roses, spray roses, and green ivy. The stems were wrapped in ribbon.

Patricia accessorized with her engagement ring ("something old"), Jimmy Choo wedges ("something new"), a diamond tennis bracelet from Kruger's Diamond Jewelers ("something borrowed"), a blue sapphire ring, and a blue embroidered handkerchief ("something blue"). A custom veil from Paris completed her stunning bridal ensemble.

Bella Figura designed the couple's invitations, with custom calligraphy by The Elegant Inkwell.

Patricia had two matrons of honor, as well as two bridesmaids. They wore convertible Jenny Yoo dresses in coordinating colors, which they accessorized with Swim to the Moon necklaces and Lauren Merkin clutches.

Matt's brother was his best man, and Patricia's three brothers served as his groomsmen. The groom wore a suit by Jack Victor Exclusive Collection via Hutson Clothing Co., and his attendants wore Calvin Klein suits from Men's Wearhouse.

Matt’s nieces served as flower girls, and his nephew played the role of ring bearer.
