Tip of the Day: Peak engagement season is almost here! If your partner wants the proposal to be a surprise and to pick out the ring himself, share your preferences with him ahead of time. Point out engaged friends' rings that you adore or styles you like in jewelry display windows. Or, have him pick out the stone and you can select the setting together at a later point in time.
One trend that's still going strong is floral-inspired engagement rings, with diamonds that are set to resemble roses, daisies and calla lilies. If you choose an intricate setting like the one above, ask if it comes with a coordinating wedding band, since it may be tricky to find one that will wrap around it (if you plan on wearing both rings on the same finger).
