"I love to capture historic locations in today's world," says Krista Cox. "Mixing history with designs and couples of today is an absolute dream." To wit, the chalk-white table and chairs set off with a tumble of romantic cottage blooms.
The graphic lace table covering is romantic and contemporary at once.

An invitation suite sets the scene for the festivities that await.
A clutch of ranunculus, peony and garden roses in repose.
A closer look at the artful tablescape, with linen napkins knotted just so, touches of blush pink via blooms and drinking glasses, and long tapered candles in a quirky yet sophisticated mauve-grey. The lush florals were arranged in small clusters set from one end of the table to the other, and kept low, for easy conversation.
Cocktails are served on a tiered, circular display table. "It was a stunning display," Krista says.
An outdoor bar takes advantage of the sunlit setting, the better to show off the pretty glassware.
