Classic Romance Wedding Theme
Want a timeless wedding that won't look dated 50 years from now? This wedding planned by Mindy Weiss Events proves that classic doesn't have to be staid. First, let's start with the outfits: A dramatic fit-and-flare gown with a hint of crystal detailing for the bride; a classic black tux for the groom; and the bridal party in matching floor-length gowns. For the color scheme, white with silver or gold accents is a regal look, or you can go with pale pinks for a more romantic effect.
If you're going with this theme, more is more when it comes to florals. "For the ceremony, we lined the aisles with flowers, hung strands of white flowers and created a ceremonial arch covered in flowers as well. We put in specialty lighting to warm the white room and created lounge areas for guests to enjoy using white furniture and large ornate mirrors," said Weiss.
Getting married in the wintertime? Use white Manzanita branches to transform a basic venue into a frosty wonderland. An all-white cake is anything but ordinary when you add loads of texture and height.
